Simple Twitch Adblocker is a Firefox extension that blocks Twitch video ads in a smart way. Utilizing unique technology, it automatically detects and hides Twitch ads. It plays the stream at a lower quality in order to keep the stream going even during ad breaks. Additionally, the feature of auto-mute ensures that even if the backup stream fails, no advertise disturbance is caused. This extension makes it difficult for Twitch to differentiate between its use and manual audio muting.

Works, but in a slightly roundabout way. The ads still play but it mutes them. BUT if you hover over the small stream preview there is a popout button and you can resize it bigger and then you can watch stream with stream audio!
