Sticky Containers

New tabs and windows will have the same container as the current tab. Links opened from external programs will also try to keep the same container as the tab which had focus.

2024-03-03 TruthSeeker Add an options page to disable certain functionality. Personally I would only use it to open links from external programs in the focused container. Anyways I appreciate your work!

2023-08-28 Firefox user 13790591 I'm using Firefox version 116, I've installed this add-on this afternoon, and it has been working perfectly for the last hours. I see no sign of the problems I've read in older reviews.

2022-08-22 Jofish Kaye It's a little confusing on first install. It looks like it's not working, because when you open a new tab it doesn't show that it's in the container. But as soon as you start using the tab it'll be in the tab you came from.
2022-03-23 Kayra The Nomad It works, but if you try clicking a link on a facebook related page with facebook containers on, it bugs.
2021-08-19 Max First I was happy, since it seemed to does exactly what was advertised. Opening a completely new Tab first looks, like its the default container, but switches correctly after entering a search. Then problems occurred too often to be ignored. Sometimes it clashes with tabs, that want to be in a concrete container and keeps reopening them to infinity. Sometimes opening a new tab in a different container results in the extension switching that container back to the last one, even if I wanted that new container. All in all I am happier with the Simple Tab Groups extension, where I also get my new Tabs correctly contained, while being in the correct group. (Since that extension comes with a lot more functionality, it couldn't be everyone's cup of tea)
2021-07-28 Janne Kujanpää Too many bugs. Makes new page and new tabs not to open in some use cases. The idea is excellent but implementation is just too buggy.
