What is SubmitToBlank?
SubmitToBlank is a Firefox add-on that allows you to easily submit forms to a new window or tab. This simplified respin of the TabSubmit extension ensures compatibility with the latest Firefox versions. With SubmitToBlank, you no longer have to worry about inconsistent behavior when middle-clicking or using keyboard shortcuts to submit forms.

Add-on summary
This is a simplified respin of the TabSubmit extension (which in turn is a rewrite of the SubmitToTab extension) done as a webextension for better forwards compatibility.
Because webextensions aren't able to modify the Firefox preferences it's unable to guarantee consistent behaviour when middle-clicking or ctrl/meta+left-clicking on a submit button.
