Add a badge to the toolbar that shows the number of currently open tabs in a window. Click it to see the total number of open tabs in all windows. Badge color is configurable. The badge text color is configurable in Firefox v63 and above. Set the addon to use the clear icon to see only the number in the toolbar. Badge can be configured to show the count of the number of tabs in the current window, the number of tabs in all windows, the total number of windows, or neither (click the icon to see a popup).

This is a fork of https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-counter-webext/ that addresses some issues reported on its repo. I'd gladly unpublish this upon former's author request.

Very nice write-up in the description. I liked that this addon had a preferences section to allow customizing the foreground / background color. I was hoping to be able to increase the font size also (viewing from about 10ft away on a 50" TV set to 1920x1080 so slightly bigger font would go a long way). I've been trying out tons of tab counter addons today and so far I would rate this one as being in the top 3 along with 'Tab Count Icon by lllusion3418' and 'Tab Counter (Tilwa fork) by tqdv' ... that said I see I still have 7 tabs worth of tab counters to try after this... Edit: After finishing my test of all tab counters on AMO my 2 favorites were TCI (mentioned above) and 'Tab Counter Plus by Oriol Brufau' (which had a ton of options). This addon was still very good and I would put it in the top 5 or 6 on the whole site. I'll probably stick with TCI as it had the largest font size of all the addons. FF v89.0.2 on Fedora 33 Cinnamon

Overall it works good. Just one thing isn´t working for me (all stock settings btw). If i put the cursor over the icon, it shows "Tabs in this window: [object Object]" Would have made an issue report on github, but i can´t find the issues-tab. Sorry. Hope you can fix it.
