Groups tabs in Firefox the same way you can do in chromium based browsers, replicated in the best way Firefox can currently manage.
The plugin allows you to group tabs together, and hide tabs that are not in the currently active group (if any).
"Tab Grouper" is a Firefox add-on that simplifies tab organization by allowing users to group tabs and hide inactive ones, much like the experience in Chromium-based browsers. While it currently lacks tab coloring due to Firefox's limitations, it aims to enhance tab management with a user-friendly interface. For a detailed usage guide, check the provided resources. Future updates may include additional features as Firefox evolves.

The major thing it is missing from the chromium based browsers (at least in my opinion) is tab coloring. Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't really have a good way of doing this at the moment, as discussed here and here.
Once Firefox gets a good way of doing this, it'll be implemented.

Thank you for being the only add-on I could find that replicates Chrome's tab grouping!
Would love the option for the tabs in each group to be highlighted constantly (ideally as the group icon colour).
I am required to use Edge for my work device & while not being able to use Firefox's extensions is frustrating, one advantage Edge does have over Firefox is tab grouping. I do like Edge's method of grouping tabs in 'folders' that appear by name in the tab bar. Firefox has no such functionality, which is a shame. This extension is the best stand-in for that functionality, and while it is not as refined as what I am used to, I assume that is more a restriction of Firefox rather than the developer's abilities. Overall, very good.
