Add-on summary
Tab Mover is a Firefox Addon for quickly moving tabs between windows via the context menu. It can move tabs between two normal windows, two windows in incognito mode and from a normal window to an window in incognito mode. Since it is not possible to directly move a tab from a window in incognito mode to a normal window, Tab Mover can optionally close such a tab and reopen its URL in a normal window.

- Clear and simple user interface
- Complements the lack of Firefox's native feature to move tabs between windows
Cons
- Difficult to find the correct window to move tabs to due to the list order
- Submenus make moving tabs less efficient, requiring multiple clicks
- Not compatible with 'Izheil multiple tab rows' add-on
Most mentioned
- Ability to move multiple tabs at once
- Need for easier or quicker way to move tabs without multiple submenus
- Desire for keyboard shortcut functionality or customization
- Wish list order was more intuitive or customizable to find windows easier
- Incompatibility with private windows or other add-ons (e.g. greyed out options)
User reviews
I HAVE 27 FF WINDOWS across 18 Virtual Desktops and this works almost perfectly. It's always reliable. Just a couple of issues to watch: 1) if you select the top tab in a nest, the entire nest will be moved. 2) The "move to" context window lists all 27 windows, but the list order is "as created" and tough-lucksky trying to find your window. So Guido - that's one feature update that would be worthy of a revisit. THANKS.
