2024-11-26 Firefox user 15079341 Works just as expected: right-click tab and "Rename". Source code is simple. Good extension.
2024-08-29 Ak Works perfectly and blends seamlessly into the browser!
2023-10-13 Ade Septian It works! The icon/add-on menu in the address bar is its biggest selling point for me, which I thought it's not possible to do.
2023-07-14 Firefox user 15097235 I love this extension. It does what it says! Aside from the main functionality, my favorite part is that it goes into the address bar by the bookmark star. Big aesthetic plus for me; it helps keep the tool on hand without making the toolbar feel cluttered. The minimalist, transparent background icon meshes with the design language of the browser (i.e. matches other icons). ----- There are a lot of similar extensions, so allow me a couple comparisons. For me, it beats Rename Tab Title (the extension I previously used) because that one has a bright white square icon that looks out of place in my dark setup. It also wins (for me personally) over an extension called "Rename Tab", because clicking the button in the address bar is easier than right clicking the tab and navigating to a button at the bottom of the context menu. ------ My main gripe is that the pop-up window is white and contrasts strongly with any dark theme. But I can live with that, since it's only noticeable when I'm actually using the extension, and not at all times. There's also a quirk where if you have two or more tabs with an identical address, renaming one will rename all the others with that same address. This can be problematic in some use cases.

2022-11-06 Guido It simply does what it claims it does. Perfect.
