2023-08-22 | Cyberknight | It takes a different approach to case changing. Instead of changing in place, like all others do (e.g., TitleCase and Case Converter change cases of HTML and form field texts), it opens a scratch text field, where the text have to be pasted into and then converted. It may sound like one unnecessary extra step, but it actually helps, as I often find myself having to edit the converted text for whatever reasons. As a suggestion, add a Title Case option, similar to Capitalized Case, but lower-casing exception words from a user defined list (e.g., "The House on the Haunted Hill", ignoring "on" and "the", except the first one, which should be capitalized, even though an English writer would put it in the list.) As a side suggestion, instead of converting the text to that non-editable area below, it could convert the text directly in the input field, leaving the space now taken by the output to the exception word list, for example... |
