Tumblr Safe Mode Redirect is a Firefox add-on that redirects the Tumblr safe mode warning page to the dashboard view of a blocked Tumblr. It allows you to still view the content, although it may not be as convenient as the normal blog view. You need to be logged in to view restricted tumblrs, and it doesn't support direct access to specific posts.

Add-on summary

You MUST be logged in order to view restricted tumblrs. It also can't take you to specific posts - tumblr has no ability to do that through the site, it always takes you to the most recent posts.
Tested working on FF 66.0.4.

I found an extension in the chrome store that disables Tumblr safe mode. You get almost immediately to the desired content without this shit from Tumblr. Unfortunately, there is no such extension for Firefox. As an adult, you are able to decide what content you want to watch or not. Paternalism on the part of Tumblr in this regard is completely unacceptable.
