What is Video Speed Up?
"Video Speed Up" is a Firefox add-on that allows users to manipulate the speed of videos played on HTML5 platforms. With a single click on the extension's icon, users can speed up videos at a rate of 0.25 per click. It also permits a controlled decrease of the video speed down to 0, acting as a pause. Despite having no upper speed limit, it notably does not affect Flash videos embedded in 'frames'.
