"Visited Link Enabler" is a Firefox add-on that enhances your web browsing experience by enabling visited link colors on nearly all websites. This feature uses the color settings from your Firefox options, making it easy to identify previously visited links. This tool is particularly beneficial due to the human vision's optimal detection of dark red colors, which are less distracting compared to bright reds or greens. To get the most out of this add-on, it's recommended to manually adjust the color settings for personalized levels of comfort.

Since many years one of my Must-Have addons. Unfortunately there are some issues on spiegel.de.
Having read a newly published article appearing at the top of the page, it unfortunately tends to lose its 'read' color status at some point, when the article is moving down the page, often through several sections, until it eventually reaches its final home.
AFAICT the article's URL remains the same during that relocation process, but apparently the different positions inside the page then seem to cause the loss of its 'read' status.
Is this a shortcoming of FF or can there something be done about it in visitedlinkenabler?
