This add-on breaks the minute you search for a typeface that isn't in the scroll down list (50, which is *impossible* for low vision users to read), which means that it's pointless for anyone with vision disabilities. That's about two thirds of the world population.
I don't know what the negative reviews are about; it works perfectly for me. I used this to change the unattractive font on The Athletic web site to Libre Baskerville.
Now, it had the unintended consequence of changing the font on the New York Times as well, but that is on me because the extension is only working as designed. (They recently moved The Athletic to a subset of nytimes.com.) Besides, Libre Baskerville is similar to what the NYT uses.
I closed Firefox and reopened it; Font Changer remembered what I want for NYT / The Athletic. So, what is not to like? Font Changer is a keeper for me.
Been using since beta c.ai was scrapped - absolutely saved my eyes since the default font and color were confusing to differentiate and the font was straining my eyes.
I've experience not a single issue since I began using this extension and I'm so happy to be able to recommend to others who need it also. :)
That's an effortless 5/5 golden stars from me!
