What is Web Server Check Tool?
Web Server Check Tool is a Firefox add-on that allows you to perform tests on web and DAV servers for functionality. It supports various checks such as HEAD, OPTIONS, PROPFIND, REPORT, and custom queries. The tool only works with HTTP and HTTPS protocols and requires specifying the protocol in the URL field. Please note that SSL certificate errors cause the connection to fail and only basic reporting of network errors is available.

Add-on summary
This utility allows you to perform a range of tests on web and DAV servers to check their functionality. The currently supported checks are: HEAD, OPTIONS, PROPFIND, REPORT and SEARCH (in custom query only) and you can now specify your own custom query.
NB: Only HTTP and HTTPS protocols are supported and you MUST specify the protocol in the URL field.
Note: The SEARCH query is only available as a custom query and the "Depth" option is ignored as the depth should be specified as part of the query.
Known Issues:
- Any SSL certificate errors will cause the connection to fail.
- Only basic reporting of network errors is available.
