What is Web to Plex?
Web to Plex is a Firefox add-on that adds a button on IMDb, Trakt.tv, Movieo, and Letterboxd to immediately open movies and TV shows in Plex Web. It also has an option to add movies to your collection if they are not available on your Plex Media Server.
Adds a button to IMDb, Trakt.tv, Movieo and Letterboxd to immediately open the movie or TV show on Plex Web.
If the movie or show doesn't exist on your Plex Media Server, the button will be visually disabled. If you have setup CouchPotato or Radarr in the options (optional), it can add the movie to your media collection with one click. If it's already in CouchPotato/Radarr, it will gently let you know its status (so the movie isn't added twice).
Make sure you have at least Plex Media Server v1.4.3 or higher.
Before using this extension, you'll need to configure it first. The options page will guide you through how to do it.
Web to Plex may not be safe to use and it requires some risky permissions. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing.
Web to Plex has earned a fairly good reputation and likely can be trusted.
