This Whitelist JavaScript WebExtention is ported from the whitelist javascript websites SDK Add-on to be compatible with the new browsers.
It will add a malware button on to the toolbar of your browser – a single button to toggle the permissions of that particular website to execute JavaScript-code
- by default JavaScript is disabled on all visiting websites
- only white-listed websites including widcards domains are allowed to use JavaScript
- whitelist entries can be entered and removed by clicking the toolbar malware or OK button
- whitlist entries can be managed in the WebExtentions preference:
- clear the complete whitelist
- remove individual websites
- add individual websites
- import/export the whitelist
- toggle wildcard yes/no for a websites example: wildcard for mozilla.org will enable all *.mozilla.org sites ike addons.mozilla.com or developer.mozilla.org etc.
