In options you can set what value cookie should have, default is 'phpstorm'. There is also option to change icon colors, so it will fit in light and dark themes.

"yep its not for XDEBUG_PROFILE, as this extension is for XDEBUG_SESSION cookie" - yes, but do we need a own extension? i guess it would be only a few lines of code including a checkbox in the settings to send XDEBUG_PROFILE too

It appears this extension is specifically designed for phpstorm. That should be specified in the description. I could not get it working with netbeans.
