Add-on summary

This addon simply detects if you are on a YouTube shorts page and automatically redirects you to the normal YouTube format.

Everything is done locally and no data is ever transferred to any 3rd party servers.

Example: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/examplevideo Is redirected to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=examplevideo

This happens both when you click on a short in YouTube and when inputting a shorts URL directly into the address bar.

User reviews

Properly redirects from a short to a the regular video player. Note however that the current version (1.1.0) gets stuck in an infinite loop when browsing a channel's shorts page.
