When I dream, I dream in color. I took it for granted for a long time that everybody did, but I guess that isn't true. Maybe that is one of the reasons I love colors so much. All three of these Gradients are the sort of patterns that I wish I could make on my own dyed eggs. Maybe some day I'll take Ukrainian egg decorating lessons! I like the green based baby shower gradient a lot, because it can be worn for many occasions. It could be worn to celebrate a baby girl or a boy, and it is springtime colors as well. The Pink Persona is a variation on it. As for the blue violet one, I might make variations on that one if people are interested. Leave a comment/request on it if you are. These are not actual beads but they look like they are! This is one of those times when I am simply amazed at what can be created with a computer graphics program. From time to time, I design my own jewelry, especially necklaces and earrings. I would love to have the “beads” in this pattern to work with! I remade this Persona for FF4 by lowering the dogs & painting a shaded strip to match the gradient. It's a work in progress, as I plan to make Edits to improve this Persona. The sable & white collie is my dog Laura. The tricolor is my dog Annie. I have also owned a blue merle collie who I will use in a Persona someday. Collies make me smile! Spring is a very irregular season in Michigan. I wore my winter coat yesterday. Then today it warmed up. I sat in the yard without any jacket on & watched the robins who were back from migration. Then, I was amazed to see a butterfly fluttering through the air. Where had he sheltered when it was so cold just a day ago? He was rather ordinary looking, but it didn't matter. I guess this isn't a typical green Saint Patrick's Day Persona-- but there is a rainbow in it, spread all over the place! Maybe if you're lucky, you'll find a pot of gold in it. Most of my Personas tend towards the busy side. I restrained myself for these Solid Personas. The colors are muted at their edges, and so are the hearts. I've already made 3 Strata Personas, Strawberry, Lemon Orange, and Blueberry. Wouldn't you know it, my daughter liked the part that barely shows on the browser. So I flipped one over for her. I love to think about all of the fun involved seeing the New Year in on New Year's Eve. A band playing Auld Lang Syne.... People cheering & shouting... Balloons soaring through the air, and colorful confetti being thrown or dropped from high places...Crepe paper streaming through the air... Celebrations with friends and family... Traditional Valentine's Day colors are Red, Pink, Violet, & White. Somehow I ended up adding pastel pink, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple. I'm simply crazy for color! I started playing around with Christmas hued triangular patterning. I was only going to make one Persona, but I kept getting more and more ideas, and I ended up with three of them. I named them by their main hues, but I couldn't make up my mind about the last one and I just went with multicolored. A friend of mine said they reminded her of stained glass windows. I guess that they remind me of gift wrap, which reminds me that I'd better stop making Personas and get some Christmas shopping done. (I'd rather make Personas, because I don't have to fight for a parking place!) I felt like a prisoner-- a prisoner to my own empty desires I hated so many things about myself. I longed for freedom—freedom from being me! I finally found what I was looking for when I learned of Jesus Christ's painful death on the cross, and realized that he had suffered for my sake. When I accepted that, I was truly set free! Traditional Valentine colors are red, pink, lavender, and white. I made some “Heartweb” Personas in those sorts of colors in 2011. I've just remade this Heartweb Persona. I altered the basic design for improved toolbar readability. It should now be more suitable for all browsers, whether they are large or small.
