2024-11-02 | Taffernakus | If like me you struggled to hear properly the vocals while watching Netflix, then this is your miracle add-on extension. An absolute must for any Firefox user! This Audio compression extension add-on works amazingly well on a DELL XPS 13 Late 2018 (9370) with the default audio drivers installed. I could not believe how good these made the built-in stereo speakers sound. Phenomenal work on the DEV's side! Get it while you can and mess around with the parameters until you get the desired outcome.

2024-08-17 | some guy | Works, but prevents my computer from sleeping on Windows 11 with a paused video open
2024-06-28 | Firefox user 16275961 | Perfect, when listening to movies online this app lowers the volume of spikes, that is, weapon, loud music, explosions, etc., while keeping the dialogues at the same level. And also it has a functionality to boost sound, which makes it even better for audios with very loud sound.
2024-05-10 | AppleMango | Enabling this extension completely disables sound in some websites (like factorio.com). The sound only works when I open the video in a new tab. I have tried the 'none' preset too, but the sound only works when I disable the extension (either using the checkbox or using firefox). EDIT: Github issues shows that this is a Firefox problem, not an extension one. This problem can easily be fixed by disabling it for troublesome sites.
2024-04-05 | shoelaceninja | Sounds like it's doubling the audio.
