Note: the default background color is dark. If you prefer a white background color please press on the - moon - icon at the top left corner of the screen. This toggle button will switch the background color, and stores the state in the memory.

How to work with this addon: just click on the new tab button on your browser and it opens a blank tab instead of the default one.

Works great! What a nice relief to have plain, simple, non-eye-straining new tab pages. (Now if this Firefox site would only offer a dark version... :?P ) This extension will be even better we can choose our background colour (e.g. an even darker gray).
