2020-06-15 | othalan | While this extension does work, it is in desperate need of better documentation and an improved interface. Not mentioned in the description, a helper script is needed which connects the vim editor to the browser text being edited, a process which you are prompted to do on the first use. To edit a text field in vim, click on the extension icon, then on the text field.
2019-12-08 | Don | So, unlike the previous reviewer, I read the docs, and I have gotten things working. It is pretty good. I have been looking for something to replace a long abandoned extension which turned a text box into a VIM editor canvas. This requires a bit more work, but it is just as good! I would suggest updating the docs to make the steps a bit more clear, but other than that, I am happy to have this back.
2019-11-05 | estefano-ppt | I really did wanted this to work. The idea is really freakin' brilliant. But I installed it and the was supposed to be a notification or something telling me about a wrapper that I had to install or something, but that never appeared. If this gets fixed, I'm trying it for sure! |
